About Ashley

The body often knows before the mind catches up.

Ashley works with women navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, body image, relationship wounds and identity changes, and with couples whose connection has been altered by conflict, loss or a major transition. Her approach is warm, direct and grounded in the belief that emotions pushed aside do not disappear. They often return through tension, anger, avoidance, perfectionism or reactions that feel difficult to explain.

Much of Ashley’s work is for clients who understand the problem intellectually but still feel it operating in the body. She integrates EMDR, Somatic Experiential Therapy and clinical hypnotherapy to help clients notice where an experience is still active, process what has not been resolved and develop ways to respond differently when the old reaction takes over.

Ashley also works with grief and loss, relational trauma, breakups, divorce recovery and the identity shifts that follow a life change. She makes room for the messier parts of the process, including anger, uncertainty, conflicting emotions and the question of who you are after a relationship, role or version of your life has changed.

With couples, Ashley helps partners slow down recurring conflict, identify the emotional and physical reactions underneath it and rebuild a clearer way of relating. She may also draw from mindfulness, CBT, DBT and ACT depending on what the couple or individual needs from the work.

Ashley values honesty, vulnerability and each client’s right to direct their own life. Outside of work, she is an avid baker, enjoys fitness and spending time with her family.
