About Clare

Change happens with someone steady in the room.

Clare works with women carrying grief, heavy moods and big life questions, and with couples, including LGBTQ+ couples, whose patterns have started running the relationship. Her work is a partnership rather than a prescription: she will not lecture or direct, but she offers insight, steady support and an honest challenge when it helps.

Much of what she works with is how the past keeps showing up in the present. Together you notice the habits and defenses that once kept you safe and now keep you stuck, then practice responding differently when the old reaction arrives first. She pays close attention to what happens between the two of you in the room, because feeling safe with another person is usually where change begins.

In grief work, Clare makes room for loss in every form, including the losses other people do not recognize or expect you to be over. She stays with the harder questions about purpose, direction and identity instead of rushing to tidy answers, and she helps you get curious about the inner voices that criticize, protect or pull in opposite directions.

She is also interested in the less obvious layers of experience: what you already know, what you have not looked at yet, and what dreams and intuition occasionally surface. With couples, she helps partners say the real thing, rebuild connection and move through the conflict that keeps returning instead of managing it.

Clare values humor, authenticity and each person's right to direct their own life. Outside of work she is most likely outdoors: in the garden, on a walk, reading somewhere with trees, or in a crowd for a live show.
